Dr Theodora Manolopoulou is an experienced, highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. With a Doctorate in Psychotherapy from University College London (UCL) and extensive clinical training funded by prestigious scholarships, she has honed her expertise at renowned institutions, including the British Psychotherapy Foundation and the Anna Freud Centre. 

With over a decade of invaluable experience in London’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Dr Theodora has successfully established her private practice in Northwest London. Her commitment to early intervention shines through her work with a specialist team focused on children under five at London CAMHS. She is a Visiting Lecturer at UCL/Anna Freud Centre, and she runs a Work Discussion Seminar for MSc students, sharing her insights and fostering the next generation of psychotherapists. 

Growing up in Athens, Greece, she moved to London to pursue her studies and has since contributed her skills to several esteemed clinical settings, including Evelina Hospital School and St Thomas’s Hospital NHS Foundation, Mind Organisation Bromley CAMHS, and Kensington and Chelsea CAMHS. With experience in nurseries like Ready, Steady Go in Northwest London, she understands the importance of early therapeutic intervention. Additionally, her involvement in research at the Anna Freud Centre/UCL demonstrates her dedication to evidence-based practices. 

In her private practice, Dr Theodora Manolopoulou offers personalised, compassionate psychotherapy tailored to children, adolescents, and young adults (up to 25 years old) in a nurturing environment. She also provides therapeutic support to parents and primary caregivers, helping them navigate their children’s emotional landscapes while fostering positive connections. Consultations and Clinical supervision for professionals are also offered. With the option for online treatment when clinically appropriate, Dr Theodora is committed to making mental health support accessible and effective. 

Dr Theodora’s pioneering approach integrates psychoanalytic thinking with diverse fields such as architecture, music, and humanitarian work. Her work has been featured in publications and presented at influential conferences, showcasing her commitment to advancing the field.
